Nice page Sandra!
In case anyone wants it, I have a full text copy of The First Scintigraphic Detection of Tumor Necrosis Factor-Alpha in Patients with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome Type 1, which I forwarded to the RSDSA about a month ago in hopes that they would put it up, so I could just direct folks to the link, but so far no soap. What's significant about the study is that it shows that all of the TNF-[alpha] was localized at the site of the injury, as opposed to it's "its soluble Receptors I/II" which have been found in a significantly high levels in the serum of patients with acute CRPS, and therefore diffused throughout the body. Systemic inflammatory mediators in post-traumatic complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS I) - longitudinal investigations and differences to control groups, Schinkel C, Scherens A, Köller M, Roellecke G, Muhr G, Maier C, Eur J Med Res. 2009 Mar 17;14(3):130-5 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/1...m&ordinalpos=1 I just emailed it to Sandra, so she should be able to provide us with a link to it shortly. For anyone who simply cannot wait, drop me a PM with your email address and it will be on it's way. (For personal, non-commercial, use only, please.) Mike |
