H-wave ?
I didnt see this device mentioned here anywhere , although Im sure it has, does any one have any experince with it ?
there seems to be some evidence it workds pretty well. http://findarticles.com/p/articles/m...8/ai_n8592739/ http://www.library.nhs.uk/NEUROLOGIC...x?resID=324256 Its pretty expensive but Im thinking of seeing if I can get nhs to help with the cost , its either that or spinal stimulator I feel given the lack of options for pain . |
Certainly it's an interesting idea--
--but it seems to be more for helping skin surface autonomic systems damaged by small-fiber syndromes work better thanit would be for relieving small-fiber pain. This H-wave would have to normalize the firing rates of multiple types of small nerve fibers to work well on both.
Probably need to see more evidence from patient trials. |

H-Wave
My husbands Dr. has suggested using H-Wave. Has anyone with back pain used it and what are the results. He has 3 bulging disks in the middle of his back. 2 bulging disks in his neck. he had a distectomy on a lower back herniated disk. He also had degenerative disk disease, along with some opothy. Any post of someone that has used this for back problems would be greatly appriciated.
