It would be great if we had a matrix to compare and contrast the many various diets used to treat various autoimmune disease.

There is the Best Bet Diet for MS

Refined sugar is also avoided, wherever possible, because it can make the leaky gut worse and can also adversely affect the immune system. More acceptable alternative sweetners are honey, maple syrup, fruit sugar(fructose) and stevia.

Eggs and Yeast are both allowed in limited quantities as long as the individual shows no specific allergic reaction to them.

For Celiac Disease the treatment is Gluten Free diet, although about 50% of those with Celiac Disease also have a casein sensitivity.

It would just be interesting to compare and contrast these diets. I think I have seen a matrix doing so, but can't remember where.

There are isolated reports of gluten free and/or other dietary changes making a difference in the course of some autoimmune disease..so it is worth considering why these various diets seem to work for at least some with autoimmune disease. You can find some mentioned in the Other Autoimmune Disease section of The Gluten File.
