A day in the life of Legzzalot...

Started off with waking up late, rushing to get DD ready and taking her to school since we missed the bus. Then had another phone interview with SSDI idiots at 10, worked on website til 12, then headed out; and get this...

In 3 hours time... I went to the gas station, post office to drop off packages, Movie place to return rentals, hit the bank, went by SSDI building to take them paperwork, went grocery shopping, came home and unloaded all the stuff and put it away.......

I am pooped! BUT, the day is still young. I still have to pick up DD, drive halfway to Hanover to meet up with her dad (it's HIS weekend), come home cook dinner, swap a hard drive out of the dead fired dept computer and my desktop to try to extract the files, call the lady about getting the puppies this weekend, and play tech support guy over the phone with another fireman...

Yes, this is on top of... cleaning the house, uploading stuff on website, creating a data feed from the site to my ecrater store, trying to list stuff on amazon, and updating all of my Ebay listings...

While... attempting to get caught up on laundry, and trying not to kill any person who crosses my path or so much as looks at me today!

Oh, did I mention I also have this incurable debilitating disease that when combined with the frozen rain outside makes me feel like my limbs are being torn from my body today and all I really want to do is crawl in my bed with a pan of brownies and a good book and stay there until Monday!?!?

Wow!! And I thought my day was busy. You need a pan of brownies, a stiff drink, your pillow and the remote. Hope you get some down time, which you definitely need. (((hugs)))

Lucky Bum. I'd love to be able to do all the things, I used to hate to do. KWIM? :)

well boys and girls that is all she wrote! I made it down list far enough to cook dinner. and I returned a few phone calls while I was cooking.... now I cannot seem to find the energy to work on computers or the motivation to work on the website. My body and my brain have voted and decided the rest of the night will be spent watching Gerard Butler movies while I lay on my couch and put the rest of my "to do" list on hold until tomorrow!

hmmmmmm I wonder what the chances are of convincing the man to prove his love for me by making those brownies??

I read your post and need to rest.

What gets me is the driving around. I just cannot do that many in and out of the car things - two or three a day and I'm done. It's turning my neck what does me in.

So, did you get the brownies or not?

legzzalot 01-23-2010 10:08 AM

DH2B professes his love for me but I still got stuck with making the brownies last night LOL. It's ok though mine are better anyway! And yes, there is leftover brownies to go with the coffee this morning!!

I think today is going to be a bum day. Yes, I have stuff to do but, the world will not come to a screeching halt if I don't get to it today. Aside from my ebay listings, the rest can be done another day. Just not tomorrow because I am going to go look at puppies and then pick up the girl. And not monday bc dd has the day off from school.... but ONE of these days... LOL
