Thyroid Hormone and Angiogenesis in the brain

A good reason to get your thyroid hormones checked. Angiogenesis, which is the formation of new blood vessels, is needed to repair/rehabilitate damaged brain tissue. If your thyroid and accompanying glands are not working correctly, this could inhibit recovery. Remember, for those of you who aren't making any progress, you are only going to get better if you asses and treat your endocrine, vascular and nervous systems concurrently.
