Okay, so I've got these little red bumps...
On Monday I woke up with little red bumps on my hand. Which then spread to my forearm and my fingers. I'd had them after surgery in November, which disappeared after a few days.
So I called the pcp, who ordered a few clotting labs/tests. Haven't gotten called back yet for results. DH keeps asking me how they are, what I think it is, etc... Now I wonder...does MS cause this? Do the DMDs cause this? I know it's called petechiae... any info? |
debbie,
i don't know for sure but it doesn't sound like MS. the results should be ready in 48-72 hrs so call the dr's office if they don't call you. let us know what it is, ok? |

This website has the 84 causes of that rash. Some say its an autoimmune thing, and others say its a blood clot disorder. Some say diet issues such a celieac or herpetaformis rash which indicates a gluten intolerance. The reasons why this can happen is a wide array of things. it does require investigation! please dont ignore it. hugs for you. |
Thanks, all...don't you feel at times that an alien has taken over your body?

I have red spots all over my feet. Reading this thread reminded me of that. It looks just like the pictures of the petechiae. I guess the next time I go see my doctor, I'll have to ask him about it. Yay...that probably means tests...expensive ones. ~grumble~
