Debbie, My senate candidate did not win either. I think Kirk has a good chance of winning in November. And the democrats may lose the governorship also. I haven't checked the news this afternoon. Have they called the governor races yet? A recount would be interesting. So says the political scientist.

You all should check out a website congressspeaks.com. It is hilarious and informative. You click on whatever state your interested in and then two rep's or senators and it gives you a word count for last year as well as how often the voted with their party ...

Well, I am off to check the news.

Hey all. I spent all day filling out forms for mom only to find out the apartment she was interested in is a drug infested mess. So, we have her set up to live in the trailer again. The old man is putting in wood floors and new vinyl and is sure she will love it.

Hi Everybody!

I worked a ten hour shift today with a 45 minute lunch... :thud: It was a great day though and I learned a lot. The store manager worked with me a lot today and went over a lot of things and clarified what the expectations and procedures are. I've gotten different advice from different people and I was getting a bit confused and feeling timid to do anything for fear of messing up.

He reassured me what my roles are and I feel good about that. I also made five sales today. :) Tomorrow is my day off so I'll be vegging and getting just a few things done before I go back to work for the weekend.

Everybody have a good Thursday! :grouphug:

Jenn mentioned that she's been rifling thru art receipts ... all I had was expenses ... but, not this year!!

I am working on another project ... right now, just small 2ft x 3ft painted floor mats ... still coloring some designs ... and trying to remember to keep it simple silly ... :p

and then I thought - wa-LA! ... I'll paint them like a quilt block pattern!

okay - this may sound silly ... but, I've lost feeling in my posterior - and it goes numb .. but before that - it's like sitting on bone, and is painful ... does anyone deal with this? it sounds really silly and bizarre ...

oh, no pain meds (messes with the liver!!) ... so, I live in daily muscle and joint pain everyday ... but, I can deal with that pain - it's my butt that hurts ... even when I relax to read a book, it doesn't take long for the numbness to set it! I know ... TOO FUNNY!!

that's it ...just found out that a new HUD apartment is being built and to start having new peops move in by November of this year! ... but, I will be moved back up to Green Bay to fend for myself and hang out with friends that are close-by!

Vonn,

Today one of my customers was a quilter. :) She had a postcard with one of her designs. I told her what you did with the kitty type of quilt with the felt on one side. :)

After talking to her for awhile I'm in awe of what quilters do (and you, our own little Vonn). :D

Wiz, my Mom used to quilt and I have two of the ones she made years and years ago. I was looking at one of them the other day and noticing all the detail in it.....and realizing that she did it all by hand! When I thought of how many stitches she put in that quilt without the help of a sewing machine it almost made me cry! :o Truly a work of art.

Hi all! Trying to get moving. Need to raid the grochery store today since they think we're going to get a lot of snow tomorrow.

Trying to figure out if what's going on with me is trigeminal neuralgia and whether or not I should make a fuss to my docs even though nothing showed on the MRI. The tingling is noticable everytime I move my mouth. It definitely gets uber worse when I eat something - a tingling that feels like a ton of bugs are biting my face all at the same time from my cheek to my eye, but trying to see if there is anything that could help that I should be going after the docs for. Research day. :)

Take care everyone! :grouphug::grouphug:

thank you, Wiz ... it's helped me to deal with the MS/pain issues ... my sewing machine and hand-quilting has been a bit neglected these last few days ... but, should be getting back into it ... still have lots of returns to do - just have to organize my time better - now that the RUSH is over!

Fin that sounds like my face anytime it was humid... still does it with numbness now.. but I do not feel the tingling part due to neurontin.... but still the tinglings use to be really bad.... in the mood again of wishing they would figure me out.... hugssss

hugss all

day off, heading with Maddie to her Early on class, we go once a week, due to her speech... but she is caught up enough not to go on to the school Ciara is at now. Special needs school for any disability... Ciara goes for speech too.
So if I want Maddie to do preschool it would have to be Head Start, I will check if we qualify.

anyhow.. not much new... hugsss all, sarah
