Paula - you are such an articulate spokesperson! We are lucky to have you on the front lines!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Linda - what a great video!

Thanks sooo much friends, but we just did this on my birthday...lol I would much rather talk about their message....I was surprised to see where the interview was used; I think their message is very accurate - thumbs up. What do you think"? Very off -be back.

Great to see the power of patient advocacy acknowledged, and to see one of our own! Thanks Linda for posting this, and Paula for being so eloquent.

thank you forumicans

It's's a pleasant surprise and an honor to find my comments included because I agree with the message and think they are finally seeing how involved we are and have reflected on the changes that occurred during the first decade on the Internet . Tricia Brooks, the pretty, well spoken gal works for BIO and is very welcoming. The people at BIO are nicer to us than the AAN, where we are treated as a nuisance and ignored by neurologists. I love BIO conventions. This year keynote luncheon speakers are Bill Clinton and George Bush jr.

I want to go but went last year so may not be able to . I wanted to check out Bill's tremor!

By the way Tricia can belt out a mean kareoke version of "I Will Survive."

Do you think this company would be interested in doing research with the fava bean project that I have started?

Hi,

Actually BIO is a conglomerate of companies, foundations that goes beyond medical -- it also includes food production and the environment. You would need to contact companies individually, which is what many people go to BIO for, to seek funding.

hope that answered some,
paula

Paula - great job!

One never knows when the camera will be r unning! (Remember the old show "Candid Camera?")

Aunt Bean, IF Paula and I get to attend BIO in Chicago this year, there are hundreds of exibitors. We will pick up some info. But a good search could provide some useable results, also.

Remind me to share with you about a locall research facility you might want to contact. Keep up the good work!

Peg
