Interesting Pain/Numbness

this has been coming and going for over 6 months .. and I thought it was weird ...

when I'm just sitting for 1/2 hour (to check emails, chit-chat with you) ... my butt goes numb ... and it's like I'm sitting on my tail-bone ...

so, then I get up and stretch ... and bending ... and try to re-position when I sit (sit on a leg, or scrunch legs up when sitting, have to keep legs elevated when sitting) ..

now - the pain comes and stays ... and as of recent - the pain goes down the back of the thigh - as tho I can't bring my leg forward and wants to give out ... and my knees feel like they are going to lock up ...

so, that's it ... weird, huh?

thanks!

Sounds like a pinched nerve or sciatic nerve, since the pain goes down the back of your legs.

I hope Your Doc can help you get to the bottom of it. :D

Feel better..

I find when that happens, my chiropractor is the first person I need to call. She uses that electrical stimulation to make the muscles let go, and then adjusts my spine. Ahhh! that feels so good!

Sitting is very hard on the spine. Standing or laying is much easier than sitting. Sitting causes the muscles to compress and lock, and puts alot of pressure on the nerves that come out of the cord. Slow gentle stretches will help. Yoga or massage, or a warm bath. Lay on the floor and do long slow stretches, make those muscle fibers open up, and allow blood to flow.

I hope you feel better quick! a numb butt isnt fun.
