Thank You !!!

Thank You Shelley,I am not sure how thease cute little smileys or all the other cute things work. I am 74 & not PC literate. I just need some one to help me with them !!! I am glad to be here. Since I type so slow I am always worried that I am going to get cut off the internet.I think I need one that does not go thru the phone line. I do not know if that would be better !!
Any way little one I thank you.Joan :)

Hi Joan Marie!

Juust before I found these boards I too was pretty much PC 'untrained'. I still am, but, the thing to remember is that the machines and the programs are stupider than we could ever be! Use the tools, the help buttons, ask for help and you'll get it. A good dose of patience is needed tho.

I hope you will read a lot of prior posts here, that way you'll get a feel of what all we talk about and share. To get a handle on your PN, go to the top of the page and click on and read the 'Stickies'....when you find a blue web site referenced, click on to the blue and another page with the info will come up.

All here know what it's like to have PN, and have asked questions and gotten answers to questions. No question is too silly seeming. I for one, have asked some doozies!

For now, good thoughts and a few pain-free moments! - j

Welcome Joan Marie!

We are so glad to have you find us. PN isn't a welcome diagnosis for any of us. But it's great to have a group like this if you have to have it. Please feel free to ask any questions and we will do our best to answer them.

Welcome Joan...

This is a very informative place.

And we also have lively discussions, mostly from our "distinctive" member! ;)

Hello Joan & welcome to the forum,
I have had a few drop outs when i was on dialup internet, [ can be very annoying ] you might want to consider writing all your post in something like " Word pad " or " Microsoft word " then when your ready to post it, just " copy and paste " it into the new thread.
Brian :)

Hello New Friend!

Welcome Joan,

I am so glad to meet you and I think you can be very proud of yourself to be tackling the internet. I think we have all typed and lost things before. Frustrating, right?

There are a lot of extremely nice people on this forum plus they are very knowledgeable. They have been quite helpful to me the past 2 years.

Take care, Joan,
NancyH
