The Pain

Fight the pain,
Don’t let it win,
Find the strength,
It’s there deep within.
Tell yourself,
You will be strong,
You can cope,
With all that is wrong.
It tests you,
Day after day,
It’s hard to,
Keep sadness away.
Tell yourself,
You can get through,
And the pain,
Will not control you!

I love this poem Jaime it is so right you cant let your body tell you ..you have to tell your body and mind ...or try to anyhow. :) send some sun our way its cold here :).

I haven't read very much poetry in a while. I've always loved reading and writing it, and it was nice to see something again. This was good! Sometimes its hard to write encouraging poetry, I've never been good at that. I liked it!
