what next?

So, I had an MRI/MRA/MRV performed last week. My neuro's office called and told me that the scan was for the most part normal except they did find a weakening of the wall of one of my blood vessels in my brain. When I "Googled" this, it always points to a possible aneurysm. When I had my first seizure they performed a CT scan to try to find out the reason. After my second seizure and subsequent fall, they performed another CT and an MRI and again found nothing. This is the first MRI that I have had since the accident. I am confused as to why this wasn't noticed before. I have none of the risk factors associated with aneurysms except they do mention head trauma could be a contributing factor. He did say that my headaches were not coming from this area. I am having a CT with contrast done on Friday. Has anyone heard of developing an aneurysm following a fall?

Honestly no I haven't. But I am finding this interesting for someone I know.

I will be waiting to hear what you find out. My daughter in law needs
to be seen. To rule out something is going on now that happened
13 or so years ago didn't cause some problems.

Dmom,

My CAT scan confirmed a 1-2 mm aneurysm. I have not been called by the neurosurgeon's office, so I have no idea where it is (besides my brain). I have been reading too much about these and have freaked myself out! The neurologist did say that my headaches are not coming from this.

try not to get too worked up 1x2 mm is very small I think, stressing out will do no good I know its easy to say and waiting for results and appointments will be hard, ask for help with the stress or have it ready, if your should need meds

stay positive and calm this can only help the situation
