I finally figured it out! DUH!

Okay, so I'm s-l-o-w, but I finally figured it out!

I ordered an i-Touch for my DH's Valentine's gift. My Son-in-law had one he wanted to sell, so he put it in a padded bag and mailed it.

I cut open the package, turned on the i-Touch and messed with it for a few minutes. But I couldn't figure out why it had two cords with raw ends. The wires were exposed and frayed. I mean, what did my SIL DO to it before he shipped it? Where was I supposed to plug them?

I had to hide it before DH came home last night. So I got it out this morning and looked at the two cords again.

And then the dawn: it wasn't 2 cords at all! It was ONE cord, cut in half when I opened the package, lolololol!!!

And to think, it only took me 2 days to figure it out! :o

Don't feel bad, Twink. ;) I wonder about obvious stuff all the time and then have a "lightbulb" moment where I feel so dumb! :o At least you figured it out before Valentine's Day!!

oh no!!! Good laugh. I hope you can get a replacement before heart's day.

You can buy a new cord at Best Buy, or if your town/city has an Apple Store, you can get one there.

I live 100 miles from Best Buy!

I ordered a new one on eBay, but doubt it will be here by :heartthrob: Day.

DH is an electrician, so maybe he can re-join the 2 frayed ends.

Walmart sells them too.

I keep losing my cords. I have two ipods, you'd think I could keep track of the cords. At least I have one of those radios that I can dock the ipods to so that I can still charge them when I cant find the cords.
