suggestions? go to dr today

Any suggestions to ask the DR about what I should do about meds, the gabatenin is not taking the burn away and I got to see DR today Couldn't take it no more that they couldn't fit me in to clinic just to get referral for MRI so I found a # for the ER coordinator. I told her I need help, that I couldn't wait that long for MRI, she talked to DR which said I should have been seen within the week and right then they got me an appointment with the clinic for today at 2pm, the clinic is also an urgent center I hope they have the MRI there but if not at least I walk out with a date for one and hopefully something that takes the burn, and crushing skull pain away better, the numbness feels alittle better. The burn spot used to be about a quarter size spot a good 9 months ago, numbness about 5. The burn now is the WHOLE top of my head with at times feeling like being cattle prodded and that's when I feel nausiated plus a crushing feeling around my whole head from base of skullringing around through my eyebrows. The numbness is my left side arm, side of neck and cheek not alot of pain just numb.

Wonderful that you were able to get seen! I don't have any suggestions. But I'm so happy you got the appointment you need!

well had appointment no MRI yet, Dr put in for appointment with orthopedic and MRI will know more of when appointments are in about a week. Still progress though. Well they say when it rains it pours, found out yesterday that my 13 yr old has Retinitis Pigmentosa, his Dr says the advancement he has at his age that he will most likely be legally blind by his mid 20s that when his driving age that he still should no drive and to think for the past 4 yrs or so he planned to be a airline pilot, It's breaking my heart they say there is no cure for the disease, thanx again for letting me vent,

I am so sorry about your son. Sometimes even Docs don't have all the predictions. Tell him to be a positive thinker, don't give up all his dreams as they may just land right in his lap someday.
Bless, Doodle bug7

Hello, I read your posts & was wondering how you were getting on? I couldn't see that you'd said if you'd got your date for an MRI. If you have had it by now did it show anything? Also, I'm so sorry to read about your son, life is very cruel at times. Take care
