5 long months later: dizziness, eye issues -normal? perilymph fistula?

I was doing some research after I was referred to vestibular rehab by my neurologist and found that my dizzy symptoms (worsens with movement, nausea along with dizziness, better with rest) almost perfectly match the symptoms of perilymph fistula, a tiny tear in your ear that lets some fluid leak out into the part of your ear that only supposed to have air in it. Evidently this can be caused by head trauma. Does anyone have any info on this or experience? How long do the dizzy/nauseous symptoms last in most people with PCS? I feel like I am progressing, albeit very slowly, if I look at months ago I can see some progress, but not a lot with the dizziness and nausea. I'm so tired of this! I used to be very active and social but with all the PCS issues I just want to hide out in my room all the time, the less interaction the better because the noise and mental effort is just too much. I feel sorry for and guilty about my poor kids and husband, not much fun for them either to have a mostly defunct mom/wife. Okay, I'll end my pity party now. I needed to vent, thanks, I know it's safe/understood here.:winky:
