She posts to the other board now - see SCS and Pain Pump board under Medicines. I think there is a sticky to the link at the top of the first page.

Hey all,
I'm still here. doing good with the pump. I'm back to working in my garden and just started back cleaning the stalls for the horses. I'm still recovering from the surgery. My back still feels weak from all the surgeries. I go this Friday to get a med increase. the rsd is acting up, but I knew it would. They told me that even tho I had success in the hospital with the trial, they would still start me low on the duladid to give my body a chance to adjust to it. So I'm looking forward to the increase, and I'm still so happy to have my life back. I'm going to plan to go back to work in a couple of weeks. that's how great I'm doing. I'm just sorry I wasted several years with the scs. I wish I had know that this was an option back then. I would be back to normal, riding my horses, and working long before this. Oh well, It will come to happen soon, actually, sooner then later. I'm so excited I still check in, but the weather has been beautiful here after a horrible snowy winter. Not being able to go out due to possible falling on the snow and ice, I've been spending all my time outside, started on my tan, lol, and I'm going to be joining the YMCA so I can get back in shape. I'm really so happy with my life and I know it will be getting so much better as time goes by. I'm not in a brain fog anymore, and I'm really enjoying my family and my animals as I haven't been able to, due to the drugs, for so long. I haven't gone away, I'm still going to be here to help others, especially if they are tired of being in a brain fog or in pain. This is my other family, and I'll never leave you.

Hugs,
Mary

Dear Lostmary

One of the challenges of RSD is not being able to plan....pain levels are unpredictable and it's sometimes futile to look forward to something because we may not be able to follow-through!

I am so happy to read all about your up-coming plans and activities you love to do and that will bring balance to yur life !!!

I am very happy for you and it is inspiring to read that you have turned a corner, to find happiness and fulfillment, and most of all, to be outside with your beloved animal friends again!!!

Enjoy your happiness !
Hope4thebest
I'm a fur-ever animal lover, too!!!
