Seeking a good Peripheral Neuropathy Neurologist in the Atlanta area

Hello everyone!

I am new to this forum and suffer from an "Idiopathic Small-Fiber Neuropathy".

The neuropathy was diagnosed via the excellent "Therapath Skin Biopsy", which I also use to monitor the condition.

I recently relocated to the Atlanta area, and wonder if anyone on this forum can recommend a great neurologist in Atlanta.

Many thanks!

David

Emory?

Have you thought of checking out Emory School of Medicine. It looks like they have an excellent Neurology Department:

I have SFN as well, and have been seen at Vanderbilt for the last 5 years. It is the best care I have received. I think you would find the same from Emory. They are both highly rated schools of medicine.

Many thanks for your insights!

I am aware of Dr. Glass at Emory, but if possible would like to see a one-man Neurologist practice.

However, I will certainly keep Emory in mind.

:)

... I ended up finally diagnosing with Lyme and Bartonella Disease so a neurologist was unnecessary, but otherwise I cannot recommend anyone in Atlanta anyway.

Sorry!

What kind of doctor diagnosed you w/ Lyme & Bartonella disease & what led you down that path when you thought you had small fiber neuropathy? Who was your doctor?
