MRI Reports are in from last week....
Here goes. The T spine from last month showed 5 new lesions, 2 active. Along with a whole list of other stuff.
The cervical says it has regressed compared to prior studies, however there is a new and active plaque at the c6-c7. Which means from my C1 to my C7 is now covered, at last check the smallest was over 70 mm. The brain is where it gets tricky. You see the radiologist says it is stable, and there is no evidence of active demyelination at this time. Which is great! And he goes on to conclude that it is all unchanged from the 10/26 study. BUT, looking at the MRI, he was kind enough to measure the lesions on my scans. At last count I had 11, today he reports there are more than 9. When I was first dx there were 7, the largest being 9 or 11 mm. None of them are under 55mm today! I have never seen this on any of my other 16 reports... "The major arterial and venous sinus flow voids or within normal limits". So I guess it's a good report as it is stablizing which means the TY may be working, but then there are the new and now active lesions that make the question? So confused! |
Howdy legzzalot. I dont know to say congrats or sorry so i'll just say hope all works out! and my question is how long have you been on Ty? Im going on treatment #5 and still going numb in hands & forearms. Eyesight mightve stablized.
Thanks |
well, I did 3 infusions, then we put off #4 until after the MRI, which has been put off until after the doc follow up in april.... unless she wan't to call and go over the reports. I am not sure if it is considered good or not, at this point I will wait for the neuro.
I haven't seen any improvement in sx yet either, but I also have to realize it has only been 3 infusions. I also had some new symptoms show up, which is why I decided not to get #4 till the doc gave the go ahead. Plus with my new sx we don't know what is caused by the MS and what is caused from the broken bines in my back, they tend to mimic one another. |
