Well, I'm sorry to hear that. :(

Now I'm gonna have that song in my haid for the next day or two. :mad:

There wasn't a one of his Davy Crockett shows that I didn't watch. He and Roy Rogers were my favorite television programs as a child.

He will be missed.

I have a video of my then 3 year old singing Davy Crockett (Cute!!!!!) He's 18 now, has continued showing musical talent. How I'll cry next time I watch that video. Davy Crockett is gone!!!!

I feel like I'm at that age when all my childhood icons are all dying....like leaves falling off a tree. I remember my parents saying the same about their childhood icons.....:( Now its my turn to AWWW about someones passing and my daughter looks at me with a confused look.

Another icon gone...."King of the wild frontier". I'm right there with you, Karilann. It seems every week or more often another childhood favorite is gone. Also RIP "Mr. Phelps", Peter Graves, from the original TV version of "Mission Impossible". I must be getting old......NUTS!!! :(
