Hi, this is a thread to get to know about each other. Post 10 facts about yourself. Here are my facts.

1. I am middle-aged.
2. I have a career, but I do not discuss it.
3. I am married.
4. My family is a constant source of drama.
5. I love Indian cuisine.
6. I recently moved into my dream home.
7. We are all atheists.
8. I wish winter were already over.
9. I love exploring cities.
10. I love meeting people.

1. I live in California (and was "transplanted" to the state when I was in pre-school).
2. My favorite season is Spring, and I love Easter as much as I adore the December holidays. (Can't get enough of 'em!)
3. Relating to "factoid" number 2 about me: I am slow - energy-wise and physically - in "taking down" holiday deco. Just wouldn't be the same without the decorations - for me.
4. I have a dog I love more than anything else in this world; she's great at keeping secrets and she doesn't gossip.
5. I like and appreciate all that my doctors may do in efforts to help, only I hate the time it takes for appointments; drive-time is the killer.
6. I also love Indian cuisine, Pakistani cuisine, Chinese and Mexican foods.
7. I am envious of people who can exercise and do things at-will; my body and doctors say a no-go and it's the thing that bothers me most about myself and the aspect of my being that I wish I could change. (Accepting it's out of my control is the downer and I've still not "accepted.")
8. I can't stand when frogs or toads appear out of nowhere and hop; they scare the bee-jeeze outta me.
9. I don't like feeling as remote as I do; transportation is a "bear" as is getting where I want to go when I want to go someplace.
10. I LOVE NT. Maybe that should be topmost on my list of facts, come to think of it. I believe it is an invaluable and a viable avenue for people (in myriad situations and with a plethora of conditions.) It does help lessen feelings of isolation greatly.

And... those are my top 10 "facts." :) There are many more :D.

Hmmm, let me think.......

1. I have been married for over 30 years to a man that excites me as much today as he did when we first met.
2. I have a cat. Just looking at her makes me happy she is so laid back.
3. My sister and my mother are my best friends.
4. I am liviing my dream in Upstate New York. I am thankful every day that I get to move here.
5. I have a full time job that I love but I do not talk about it outside of work. It is only work, not my life.
6. I feel better than people think I do.
7. I am very passionate.
8. People misunderstand me.
9. I been overweight my whole life and refuse to even think about going on a diet again.
10. I still like the Beatles.

1. My 86 year old Mom has lived with us for almost three years and lived to tell about it!!
2. I love any food with noodles in it...Italian...Chinese...and all the rest!
3. My first husband did time in prison...after we were divorced!
4. Almost ten years ago when I married my Olhipie I became caregiver and Grandma all in one day!
5. I live close to some pretty beautiful mountains and just a day trip from Yellowstone!!
6. Most of those I associate with don't know I'm disabled.
7. Scared to death to leave the house most of the time have to take a xanax.
8. I think sleep is overrated. I don't fall to sleep very easy but once there could sleep forever and then beat myself up for sleeping so late!
9. I live on the same property I grew up on...country kid.
10. Love to cook for my family and friends no matter how much pain it brings me...love to see them enjoy my creations!!!
