Ovarian Cyst
 

Hi everyone,

I started a thread a while ago wondering if I had a UTI. Well that came back all clear.

The problem is I'm still having pains, almost period like, pressure when I sit, in the front and back. Lower back pain as well, not muscular, but like the dragging period pain I sometimes get.

I'm starting to feel like its all in my head, and was wondering if it could be pain related to an endometriotic cyst that was discovered back in August last year.

Any thoughts would be appreciated, as I'm comming to the end of my tether.

Hi,

What type of tests have you had? There are lots of other issues associated with endo, and they can cause that horrible pain.
I have endo, and then had a pain mapping surgery. It was as crappy as it sounds, I laid there and told them when it would hurt as they poked through my organs.
Turns out that I had interstitial cystitis as well and that pain was ontop of the endo. A friend of mine was just diagnosed with Adenoyosis which can cause a great deal of pain.

Between her and I, we have been through all of the treatments and had all of the surgeries.
If you want, feel free to send me a message of what you have done and the symptoms. If I can help in anyway I will! I have done everything from prescription meds, alternative therapy and had 5 years of morphine.
By the way, I am now pain and symptom free! So there is hope.
