Thoracic t7 t8 extrusion

Has anyone out there had a traumatic extrusion of a thoracic disk. I know this is an unusual location, and the pain is so disabling, and frustrating, as most doctors don't seem to know much, or give much feedback except that you don't want surgery in this region. Thank you
