PRP , Stem Cells and the future
I came across this doing my usual trawl across cyberspace wondered about the ramifications of using something like this on people with neuropathy i.e. if it can be used to regenerate some of things it claims below , then why can it regenerate or help us ?
http://www.orogen.net/clinical_app.php http://www.orogen.net/case_studies.php So I did a wee scout further ( because its something i dont see managed much on any forums ) and noticed theres actually some evidence that it could help. http://www.anesthesia-analgesia.org/...104/4/944.full http://biomed.brown.edu/Courses/BI10..._Regeneration/ Has any one heard of , tried , this drug Sygen ? |
PRP is being used in athletes with injuries. I think Tiger Woods had it done for his knee.
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Technol...ry?id=10303312 I've seen a little that PRP is not what they thought it would be. But I don't have first hand knowledge about it. |
