Hey guys.... have been lurking a little bit... I have been really stressed with school... I thought that this time I was literally going to explode... and, well, as I have said it before, stress really bother me and scary me... I know it is too bad for health and I can feel it...

Anyways, this post is, to let you know, that, still dont know very well how and why, but, Im going to the U.S to see my fav band (the one I saw in London) again !!! :D :D :D :D :D

I say it is something crazy because, I have like 2 cents and will have to survive with that :rolleyes:
Also, I have lots of things to do at the lab.... but anyways, my co workers messed everything up and I need to wait until my things (cells, antibodies, primers, etc.. arrive again !!!) so... will skip some days...

Plus, sometimes, seriously, I think Im not conscient when I do things... Im gonna point hypomania as responsable this time... :o I bought my airplane ticket with my first scholarship (well, second one as the first one was to pay back what my boss and aunt kindly lent me for london) and my concerts tickets with my mom's credit card... Then I realised, heck, I need a place to sleep and food but oh well.... :rolleyes:

Also, as I mentioned in the past, I hate travelling... that process between leaving and arriving if you know what I mean... :rolleyes: So... Im really stressed and nervous and everything right now which I bet is not good for my health or mood but... oh man... I feel silly and happy at the same time... does that make sense ?? guess not... Maybe Im too irresponsable... :(

Oh well...

and, when you are old and grey, i doubt you will regret this! you are living your life, NOW! :)

i don't know about hypomania... you REAALLLLY wanted to see this band... you mentioned this concert waaaaaaaaaaaay back. sure, maybe it was a teeny tiny bit irresponsible to do this, financially, but... overall, you are not doing anything bad. i think it is ok. (just don't make a habit of it! :D)

i bet you can figure something out for food and lodging. you could try to find a youth hostel perhaps. how much time do we have - when do you leave?

and food... well... given where you're from, i *HATE* to make this suggestion because golly, you get the "real food" all the time, but... just $$$-wise... when i was a broke college student, i used to rely heavily on Taco Bell. Specifically, plain bean burritos. cheapest thing on the menu from the cheapest fast food place around. nutritious & full amino acid complex (beans+grain). veggies are not indispensable for a few days :rolleyes:

i wish you well in your adventure. i used to love travelling... i wish i could send you some of my travel-proneness. :D

Im leaving next saturday... uff.... just with a small suitcase where I'll put some food and water.... not fruit of vegetables, no meat ! as I dont want trouble with customs you know...

Im looking for small hostels to stay... wish me luck !!!
