I wish Bill Gates would get ALS ,,not

Over the years of going to chatrooms and forums to find out more about ALS and to find other pals.

Every now and then I see where people have said [ I wish Bill Gates would get ALS ].

This is not what they are wishing for.

I know better then that because a pals would never wish ALS on someone else.

We just want some of Bill's money for research right ?

Mr. Gates is doing so many good things with his money. So to that I say thank you Mr. Gates.

Then I would ask Bill for ¼ of 1 % of the interest his money makes for the cure to ALS.

Put the money towards research or a reward fund for a cure.

The Magic of Software
19.10.2006 12:56:35
Bill Gates: "Rolltalk is a very nice piece of software. I think it is about as good an illustration of the magic of software I have ever seen".
Rolltalk user Dr. Moskvil and Kjartan Larsen was invited to the opening of IT Forum in Copenhagen, Denmark on November 16th.
Oystein Johnsen was also attending a Round Table conference with Bill Gates.

Is it really sick?

I don't personally wish Bill Gates to have ALS. But I wouldn't mind challenging him or others to attempt the experience for a day. He can afford buying a chair and assistance devices (and then donate it to the MDA) and here are the groundrules. Bill live the life of a person with ALS for 24 hours. Don't move. Don't talk. Don't eat anything solid. Just blink. When its time for a potty break, hire someone to change you. Have someone lift you in and out of bed, wipe your nose, tie your shoes, brush your teeth and on and on.

Would that kind of experience be "bad" or character building? Maybe neither but if more people (especially those with $$$) realized the kind of hell that their neighbors are going through perhaps there would actually be progress towards a cure.

Come on Bill. I know you can do it!
