Our cats are sick....could be a trigger/???

Both Hazel and Hattie are sick they have the feline flu. Hattie was a carrier and gave it to hazel whose eye started draining and then started sneezing, no fever, vet visit and eye ointment and liquid antibiotics which we finally got the hang of giving to her. Hazel is so much better now!:)
then Hattie started gaging and coughing took her to the vet and she had a fever of 105.5 which is very high for a cat no eye involvement, and I am sure she feels just terrible. :(She has been drooling so much phlem...poor baby, giving her much stronger antibiotics and she is making it really hard to give them to her.She is a fighter while she is so lethargic...she had not been doing much of anything today not eating nor drinking that we could tell but finally tonight she ate some and drank some so we feel relieved.
She is drooling all over the house...I hope we don't have a 3rd sick cat by the time this is all over.

My Cat started sneezing about a week ago. A few times she sneezed over, and over again. She must be getting pollen in her nose. She's better now. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Beth,

Cats can be the worst to give medicine to. I feel for your cats and hope the
3rd one doesn't get it. Can you keep the 3rd one separated from the other 2 so he won't get it?

BF, I had a cat that would snore. I hope yours gets over it's allergies.

(((Beth)))

i'm sorry your kitties got that nasty bug! :( I hope Hattie feels better soon and that if your other cat does get it that it is milder!

Sending all your kitties good vibes.

Good luck!!

I hope your kitties all do great!! I am so sorry that they are sick in the first place. I do not have kitties but I have 3 dogs and I know how frustrating it can be when your babies are sick!! I wish you and your babies the very best. I will be thinking about the 4 of you. Please keep us posted.

thanks for the well wishes, hattie is better today and eating a little bit and drinking water alittle bit.
We are so THANKFUL!!!!:)
had to redose her because she spit out the first dose or I did not put the syringe back enough in her throat which is probably what happened.
Not perfected this process but getting easier forthe most part, jeff puts on heavy coat and gloves and we wrap her in a towel tight and pry jaws apart and shove syringe a the side of her mouth and into her throat jsut past the gag part. it has been working pretty good until this mornings mishap.
so glad t hat she is better. Hazel is almost back to normal, still finish her dose of antibiotics she is much easier to medicate.
