Advice please Mrs D.
Hi Mrs D, I have been looking everywhere in Australia for grapeseed extract and have not been able to find any so I thought I would look in the supermarket and found grapeseed oil, is this ok for me to take and if so how much in ml form should I take per day. If not I just add some to my salads and for cooking.

I did a quick search & the oil seems to be more for cooking than using as a health supplement.
http://www.google.com/search?q=grape...ient=firefox-a Did you look online for grapeseed supplements? where to buy grape seed extract in Australia- http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c...tralia&spell=1 |
Hi Lesley... no the oil is different. It is for cooking and massage.
I believe iherb mails to Australia.. This is an example: http://www.iherb.com/Now-Foods-Grape...Vcaps/314?at=0 Grapeseed extract is very common, you should be able to find it there.(it might be listed in products with "antioxidant" on the label, or it might be called polyphenols, or OPCs). There are other benefits too, to the skin, and eyes, etc. You need a good dose of these, 300mg a day to really see improvements. They take a bit of time to start working, they are not like drugs. They quench free radicals and inflammation. So the effects are slow, but once they start, in a month or so, you'll notice something. |
Thanks Mrs D, I will go to iherb and see about getting grapeseed extract, I already get B12 and D3 from them, I looked into products from Australia and they are too expensive here, it is cheaper to get them from the US.
