Good Neuropathy Chart

Looks like neurowustl. consolidated some of their neuropathy facts.

Yeah--

--damn nice chart.

Think I'll go put it in the Stickies.

Seems to be quite comprehensive, but
it'd be nice to know how to read it properly.

Upside down with your thumb in your mouth? That worked for me!:D

cyclelops 05-16-2010 08:30 AM

Bob, perhaps reading it after a bit of that medical mj......it would probably be hilarious.:D

(I can't get that image and those emoticons out of my mind......I am still laughing....OMG.....there are steps between me and the bathroom.....gotta go:OuttaHere:)

The 'trick' is sorting your symptoms....

and all to what's KNOWN. Granted, lots of of other factors come into play? But I thank you Cy, as I'd not found THAT one myself! [Not jealous mind you, just makes me feel as if I'm getting lazy?]
It's the 'sorting' and then the 'testing' at the right times that can and do get you somewhere [maybe?]. For me, it worked to a degree, I sure wish it'd work for YOU and SOON!'s in heaps - j

Yes, reading medical diagnostic 'charts' After you've been written off as nutso the first FOUR times [give or take]by docs of various sorts- Can make you sort of stir-crazy? But often, for US the patients? There can be and are 'eureka' moments! Where all the s/x's and such plus testing can result in an epiphany of sorts? It's just that WE have to do the research for the docs! I really HATE THAT PART! That all is a true call for med MJ! To read this babble objectively? NOT! Get me in a pompous doc's office and I'd likely use my cane as a 'persuader'.

I always get a 'wishy-washy' sort of prognosis with this stuff? I would really REALLY like to hear of folks where the PN ILK has actually gone away? Medical attitudes equalling medical miracles? NAH! Honesty would be far, far better IMHO! At least, with this chart? There is some 'outline' of things that can happen and to come [tho deliberately unstated?]. I'm crawling back into my cave very soon, It's that or park out in the SUN. Hugs, heart, strength and smarts to all! - j

I found it because I was distracted and looking for the half life of iv--Ig.

It is 21 days BTW.

Anyway, I just googled SNF 2010....and voila, new chart.....

LizaJane 05-17-2010 05:57 PM

Good, but...

It's great for doctors, but looking at it from our perspective, I'd say it doesn't yet render lizajane.org useless. I'm wondering if it would add anything to the conversation if we brought it to doctor's appointments along with our labs.

cyclelops 05-17-2010 09:41 PM

I have thought of bringing a donkey, for swift kicking, to my appointments, but, not the chart.

It is simply the result of googling, 'small fiber neuropathy 2010.

When I have to bring up what my abnormal labs are 'trending' towards, I start to doubt the 'efficacy' of my care, so now and then, I snoop and find the end of the internet. April 2010 seemed to be the end of the internet for now.
