I haven't heard the name before , but maybe some in CA will see it and post.

I went to a physiatrist in Oregon {he had written a paper on TOS yrs before - but I wasn't able to track it down to see what was written...}
He was OK but that type of dr seems to be more focused on rehabbing and strengthening - it worked alright for me as I had a mild case of RSI/TOS with some muscle imbalances.
The dr himself didn't really do much for me at all other than the EMG/NCV & ordering a MRI, but he did have a very good & advanced PT guy - who did the actual hands on full evaluation and mapped out the PT tx. It was mainly strengthening of the weak muscles.
But by then I was also seeing the really good chiro & had been to the other advanced PT guy on my own.

I went to the Physiatrist that last time hoping he would write something about TOS or a chronic injury... but he labeled it as a "cervico thoracic spine strain with arm pain.." that was as close as he would go. The Dr never even did the positional arm testing but his PT guy did do them {positive for blood flow stopping @ the same exact positions each time _ but this doesn't automatically prove TOS on it's own}

So that is my experience with the physiatrist I saw .
But the one you ask about may be more in tune with or knowledgeable of TOS & TOS type syndromes.

Have you listed/described your symptoms here on the forum?

I have TOS, had the decompression surgery and scalenectomy and still need to see someone who understands the special needs of some one with TOS.

Yes, I'm hoping some one in CA. will reply! I'm tired of getting Auth. to go and see a new Dr. only to find they are as much in the dark as the last, and then have to go thru the paperwork all over again. *SIGH*!
