"TENS" unit...

Has anyone used a "TENS" unit for neuropathy? Any good results?

I've been trying to read a lot of the posts here--so much information--but we might actually help each other with 'symptoms in common'.

Perhaps what the first problem that HIT that started this MESS!?!

Best wishes to all.

A Lot of people do use Tens Machines for PN, some get relief and so do not. In some of the books I have brought on PN they do recommend using one, so I guess it i worth a try. I have a machine tha you place your feet on while sitting, it also has pads that can be placed on other body parts. I have used it on my legs and it seems to help not so sure about my feet though. It is called a cirulation machine but is a ten machine.'

There are a lot of books available that give information on getting pain relief.

I have a TENS and really like it. I can put up to 8 electrodes on it. I have various sizes and shapes to use also. The unit itself has several different settings and types of stimulation for various body parts. I use rechargeable batteries in it, I've been known to wear it almost 24/7 sometimes! Doc said I could drive with it too.

Its not a cure, but it does help me.
