Still here

Hello, everyone...just wanted to say I'm still here, going through this journey, with all of you...not always a good one, though, is it?? I had a unruptured cerebral aneursym, very large...surgery on Dec 4th, coiled. Through this sight here I'm hoping to make friends who are going through this, also. Not that I wish this on anyone, certainly!! But I do know we're out there, and I do know this is a rough time for all of us, I'll being saying prayers nightly for all of us going through it. I have good days, and then bad ones...ugh!! Hopefully, soon, the good will outnumber the bad. Just wanted to say hello, and let everyone know I'm thinking of them, always...Laurie:)

Hi Laurie,
Its great to have a place to go to that has people going through the same thing. Especially something like this because its not like we had a broken leg and its totally common! I had a ruptured aneurysm and am lucky to be alive and so far so good. BeachGirl was someone who reached out to me and is a great support. Hope to see you around and hear how your doing!

Hi Laurie, yes, it's comforting to know that others are on this annie journey too isn't it! We are always here to chat, or if you want to vent. It's great to be able to share the laughs and the tears. That's great to hear that you're recover is going ok - at least you are on the right side of surgery now!! ;) Listen to your body, it knows what it needs to heal.

Stacey, thankyou for those kind words. :)

Sending you both a big hug

Nat xx

Thanks to everyone for all the support here, Beachgirl, your right...it is comforting to know there are others out here going through this. I feel I can breathe just knowing I'm not the only one going through it, the anxiety, depression can sometimes be overwhelming, can't it? Mine was a 14-15 mm anterior communicating artery aneurysm, so it was very large. Symptoms were dizziness, while I was driving, yikes!! I'm thankful to say, after 3 surgeries, I'm on the road to recovery, but it's definitely a long road for sure.
With all the thoughts and prayers going on this sight, I know it's helping, myself for sure, hopefully everyone else out there, too.
I hope everyone out here has a wonderful and safe Memorial Day Weekend!
Hugs to all of you...Laurie:)
