Obsessive/Compulsive Behavior
I am going through a bout of OCD really bad. Don't know if any of you don't get this way, or this is just the bipolar and I need to let it go.
|
I am sorry...
this is manic behavior as well as OCD.
Over the top, impulsive, new projects, not being able to let things go... these are manicy behaviors am afraid I know cause I do them too. bizi:hug: |
Hi,
I'm thinking along the same lines as Bizi. This sounds like heightened energy and maybe some anxiety. Do you think it is part of a mania? Owww. Sorry about the stress fracture. Is there another kind of exercise you can practice for a while that takes the stress off the legs? Swimming? Chair aerobics? Yeah, I know that these don't have the same satisfaction that running has. My brain is dull. Mari |
I used to have OCD as to the part of cleaning cleaning and cleaning.
I don't know now why I don't feel like doing a damn thing, well I think it is the pain factor and depression. Then will come a day that I go nuts on cleaning. I can't figure it out. I don't think any of my meds have anything to do with it. I think as you get older you just say *&%$ it. To me everything is an effort right now, I hate myself for it. Hugs, Nikko:hug: |
Thanks
I really never considered it mania because, I think of my mania in irrational thinking, on such an extreme level. Maybe this is what they would call hypomania? I don't know, I am trying to chill out and do pilates and stop cleaning.
|
hey buddy,
good for you with the pilates...that is so hard for me...I really can't do that. I think there are different levels of mania too, we can be manic and not psychotic too. been there done that too. (((HUGS))):grouphug: bizi |
I think
I think I am in some hypomania, coffee alot..I am slowing down some.
|
I can't drink coffee at all when I am hypomanic...it puts me over the edge...and I like drinking coffee alot...
so have switched to herbal tea and decaf. (((HUGS))) bizi:grouphug: |

Coffee and cigarettes are like a staple for me since I quit drinking.

you have heard the story....2 cars in 3 weeks.... hello mania! You used to exercise alot before right? For me, I started having small injuries around the house... I think getting injured or sick/cold is our bodies way telling us to slow down... usually everytime I start a new exercise program or join a gym I get injured from overdoing it. There seems to be no moderation..... Change is hard ((((HUGS)))) bizi |
