Piriformis Pain & Allodynia
Hi - Excuse me if this is an already existing thread. This is the first time I have joined a forum. I have been researching Piriformis Syndrome & allodynia for 6 months. Has anyone out there had any success in treating either malady? If I receive a response, I will elaborate on the therapies and medications I have been taking for these. Thanks!

I am very interested in piriformis syndrome and have been researching it too. I have had absolutely no sucess treating it however. I would love to hear from you. I have tried all conservative treatments including stretching exercises, deep massage, acupuncture, all painful with no lasting relief.
The next one to try is botox injection. Going to google allodynia as haven't heard of it. I am 99% sure I have sciatica due to post traumatic piriformis syndrome, but I still need a consultant to concur, they all want to pass it off as a spinal issue. Would love to hear your story and how you have managed with any treatments so far. Helen |
I don't have allodynia, too many numb areas, but I do get a ridiculous, restless leg syndrome, when all my nerves in my legs sit up all night and 'talk and buzz' at each other . Hope to hear from you soon.
