Hello Everybody.... TGIF
I am new to a lot of things lately. I am new to having health problems, surgery, chat rooms, and NeuroTalk.
I have suffered with back pain most my life but the past few years have bee the worst. I have tried several techniques in my life time and all have faied. I just had ACDF on my C67 and I am due to have the same thing done on my L5-S1. Since my surgery I can not take any pain medication because it gives me severe headaches... I am talking on the ground crying, throwing up, and unable to talk or function for hours, days at a time. I am here because I am at a loss of what to do. I am in worse pain than before my surgery and terrified to continue with the lumbar surgery if this is how its goin to be. So, now you know why I am here~Here is a little about me. I am a 42 year old Social Worker and adoptive/foster parent to 6 kids. I have a wonderful 23 year old bio-daughter and a wonderful husband of 25 years. I am stable in most areas of my life accept my health. Please let me know a little about you as well... Thanks Sandiemas |

Hi Sandie, When did you have your cervical fusion. It took about 3 months for me to completely feel well afterwards. There are days now I forget it was even done. I have also heard many success stories concerning L5/S1 fusions. Hope you are feeling better soon.
