I'm Dropping Everything!

So my right hand and arm has been numb for a couple of years now. It's got that "sandy" feeling and feels like I'm wearing a rubber glove all the time.

Recently, though, my arm and hand has gotten noticeably weaker and I'm having a hard time holding onto things. They almost feel slick. I've dropped so many things lately I almost go ahead and drop them as soon as I pick them up just to get it over with!

I especially notice it when I'm doing something that requires repetitive motion with my right hand.....like drying my hair or putting on makeup. Typing is hard, too. Forget about writing legibly. It looks the same whether I use my right or left hand. And my penmanship used to be my "thing". I love neat writing. :( Oh, well.......

I know it's just par for the course. I'm not freaking out about it or anything. It's just so frustrating and I'm so tired of dropping stuff. Guess I'm just venting. :( Thanks for listening. :)

Vent away. Most days I have to really focus to avoid not dropping, spilling or breaking anything I come in contact with.

At first I read that as, Drooping....and I said "Me Too" :D

On the weakness and dropping thing, it's the humidity. It makes me angry to drop things..Grrrrr.

Run your hands under cool water, every now and then or stick em in the freezer for a few seconds. It helps. In the old days, when I could still walk well, I would sit on the edge of the tub and run the cool shower water over my legs. It usually gave me another hour outside....or use the outdoor hose. Feels good.:)

the part about "dropping things on purpose just to get it over with" hit home here. Thanks for the laugh!

Hope life "picks up" (pardon the pun, just trying to make you smile) soon dear! Hugs!!

I do the same thing or tremors start while I am chopping veggies. Our black poodle (Jesse) runs to the kitchen when he hears me because he knows something is gonna hit the floor and it's his. :p

Last week I was measuring flour and spilled some on him turning him in to a skunk!! Poor dog just looked at me like whay did I do??

Hey, Kelly -- you're on a roll! Who knows? Maybe you'll "Drop" 20 lbs. or something? :D

Be well, my friend.
