Cherry capsules and inflammation

Has anyone tried drinking cherry juice or taking cherry capsules to help with pain and inflammation?

Cherry juice/extract/whole fruit has been touted for arthritis for a long time. Didn't do much for me.

But all dark red/purple fruits have polyphenols in them to help with inflammation. That would be dark grapes with skins, pomegranate, blueberries, etc. Dark cherries fit that bill too.

I use grapeseed extract and krill oil now (has astaxanthin --an antioxidant--in it)

I agree. The other day at the grocery store a lady was buying some Bing Cherries. They were on sale but high priced anyway and I love them. At any rate, she said she was buying them for her son who has gout and she said that they really work. Good to know and I hope I never have gout as I know from several people how painful it is.
