Why am I so weepy?!
I am not a weeper. not a sniffer. not a crier. I dont cry at romantic TV commercials, nor sad movies. I simply dont. I have watched in wonder as my g/f sat sobbing in the theater as the starlet dies, or the b/f runs away...me? I am sad, but not weapy.
For the last week, I am weepy! I am teary at TV commercials, you tube videos This one made me cry! http://www.youtube.com/watch_popup?v=hN8CKwdosjE now, its a great video, I will give you that, but to make me cry? I spoke to a g/f who said she has several friends who are also weepy right now. Am I alone? Is it the heat? the season? the fact that I just quit a med I have been on for 3 years? am I in withdrawl? am I lonely? I cant seem to grasp the answer, and yet here I sit, weepy. Is this an MS thing? why am I so quick to blame MS for everything? |
Well, for me it's the music that gets to me. The song that video was set to always makes me cry......even though it's one of my favorite songs. Now, had it been set to an upbeat song it probably wouldn't have gotten to me. But......you're not alone. I cry at the drop of a hat usually. :rolleyes:

I blame MS for everything too, but I was always a crybaby.:p Prozac helps.:)

yup. weepy for the last year and a half. . . but even worse is the manic phases I have been havinbg lately. I am really hyper, then really mad, then really sad, then really happy. Of course by the time happy rolls around everyone else is annoyed with me and wants nothing to do with me.

If I cry easily it means my AD needs to be changed or upped in dose, lol. I hope you'll feel better soon. :hug:

When am I most weepy? When someone asks me about my weepiness, of course. :Sob::Sob::Sob::)
|
It is MS. Swings in affect (Emotions). I cry and laugh more easily (and spit laughing). Montel Williams says he cries more easily, tried to hide it, now just goes with the flow. It must be a brain thing. There is more depression among MSers.

For me, it is MS, if that is what I have and it sounds like I do. SIGH.
Normally, I'm not weepy either, but when my mood changes from mellow to weepy, I know my CNS is going through some changes. The weather fluctuations and stress seem to bring it on. I found ice wraps at Walmart to wrap around my head like a turbin in hopes of reducing the inflammation. Seems to help some...not a cure, though. Sleep helps more than anything and time...Hope you feel better soon! ♥ |
Got to be the MS...that pseudobulbar affect thiingie...I've been on a roller coaster of highs and lows lately...and I cry at the most inopportune times. My neuro told me to get my thyroid problems in order, that that can cause moodiness too...
Hope you feel better soon, dear:hug::hug: |
:hug: dej;
well, all those things seem like a reason. hormones? i've had to change my AD several times. i can usually tell the difference between sadness and depression. you've had a lot going on lately. perhaps it's all catching up to you and you're emotions that have piled up and letting loose. :hug: |
