Do you hear what I hear

Subsonics are inaudible, extremely low frequency, yet very powerful sound waves. In nature they almost always are linked to danger and thus trigger the fight or flight response. They are also quite rare. However, in the world of the Industrial Revolution they became steadily more common. Today, millions of us live with them. Only a fool would say that there is no effect on our health. But could they be one cause of PD? <More>

Yes - I hear what you hear!

Rick

I think these and micro-waves, and all the other invisible demons in the form of cell phones, electromagnetic forces, radio and TV signals, and on and on, have EVERYTHING to do with causing diseases, especially neurological illnesses. I believe they are a cause of mutation of cells causing some cancers, too.

We're not getting better because our environment is getting polluted with all of these waves. There are actual warnings about sleeping under an electric blanket or having a radio near your headboard while you sleep, etc. I've seen teens that you would thing had cell pohones super-glued to their ear! I wonder what shape their neurons will be in another decade?

Oh, don't get me started!
Peg

PS
And here I sit for way too long in front of a computer that is emitting radiation! Yikes!

Amen Peggy! I stopped using microwaves years ago and am so happy that there is not one at the farm. I actually tried sleeping under an electric blanke one time...only once! I reacted horribly to it. It was almost like my nerves were trying to jump out of my skin.

The "UNSEEN" World can hurt us

Just to put my two cents in, yes indeed the electromagnetic, microwave, cell phone, computer screens, hair dryers and any other of the items we allow to come in contact with our brain and bodies puts us all in real DANGER and most of the so-called research will say "Don't worry".......the bottom line is GREED and the Profit Margin to make the most money and if it kills people, oh well they were going to die of something eventually whether we help them along or not.

I tried an electric blanket once too and our body is not made to have strong A/C or D/C fields around it constantly. How do they get the heart started back into a normal beat when having a heart attack.......by a jolt of electricity. It would not help to have that done when the beat is normal now would it ???

It is a miracle that we live as long as we do and it is certain we will not make it outta this world alive.......ha-ha-ha ! ! ! ! ! !

As Jim Morrison once said "No one here get's out alive".

Maybe we, with Young Onset are a lot more sensitive to all these "waves". I wonder if there's a correlation between the number of YO diagnosed each year, and progress in the "waves" industry. Maybe that's why DBS is so effective? Might re-balance things up there?

Rick,

curiously the loud noise of thunder doesn't bother those who suffer from the condition called hyperacusis which may be what you are experiencing. do you also hear other sounds with magnified awareness?

kind regards
MD

reverett123 07-25-2010 06:26 PM

No, MD, I'm referring to sounds that are below normal hearing range but that can still carry large amounts of energy. I mentioned the roar of the tiger which has the silent parts as well as what we consciously hear. Another is a system of communication used by African elephants over many miles. It seems to require large creatures with feet firmly on the ground, so it would probably be linked to danger from Day1.
