Going to give Ampyra another try
 

Told my neuro last night that I'd discontinued the Ampyra...he asked me how much time in between doses I was waiting. He told me he is confident I can take it early in the a.m. and again in mid afternoon...so he suggested I give it another try. Okay, doc...I trust him because he did lots of clinical trials for the drug.

i discontinued taking ampyra cause it stopped working and started to take
4ap again - it seems work better.

So far no improvement...sigh

Did your Neuro say how long to give it to produce results? You might have to take it continuously for a few weeks to notice any improvement. :confused: Good luck and I hope you find some relief with this med.

Thanks Kel...we didn't discuss it this time, but when I first went on it he said I should notice changes within the first few days. No such luck this time either...but I'm going to stay on it until the second bottle of 3 is empty, and take down notes...
