Hi there hon.

I wanted to stop by, say hi and help you to get to the proper forum, only I cannot find one on this particular website of ours.

All I can do is say that you and your child (the lovely Harry), are in my prayers this evening. He is very lucky he has you for a mom.

Hopefully another more knowledgeable member will come along and point you in the correct direction.

Take care

Melody

Hi shaniebxxx, and welcome to NeuroTalk.

I've provided some links for you to check out, but unfortunately our Cerebral Palsy thread is rather quiet at the moment. Feel free to post there though; maybe your post might bring others back to the forum.

Incase you'd rather try our Children's Forum... here's the link. You just might get more replies if you were to post there.

Hi Shanie. I know how you feel, you are given this diagnosis and then left to it. It's like a bomb has gone off in your life and then you have to deal with it yourself without information or support. My son was recently diagnosed with spastic quadriplegia and I was looking around for info on just about anything to do with CP. Eventually I found this and I can really recommend it. It is clearly written and explains everything in simple language. It is called, 'Cerebral Palsy. - A Short Guide.' ..... *edit* the author's name, (Andrew Brereton) you will find it.
