Hi.

I am 20 years old and I have had RSD/CRPS for about 5 years. I have come here in what feels like a last resort because I am sick and tired of trying to make the people around me understand what I am going through. I realize now, that I have looked in all of the wrong places for support. Most of the people around me have either left, or stayed around just long enough to kick me while I am down. I have never asked for pity or sympathy, I just want someone to talk to, and for someone to listen. Apparently that is a lot to ask for.

Based on that please tell me if I am in the right place. I don't know where to post either. There's the RSD topic, the chronic pain topic and the general emotions topic. I have been hurt way too much from people who pretend to care, or should care. I am afraid of reaching out to strangers, since my own family and friends even won't help me. I also need accurate first hand information on certain diseases, medications and procedures. I have been through a lot but there is still a lot to come.

Hi! You've come to a good place. You'll find lots of support here, and people who understand. You can post on as many forums as you want...many people here have more than one thing going on! Welcome!
