mp and sarcoidosis-new member
 

Hi, I also have mp for almost 3 years in my left leg/pelvic area. My mp came after I had knee surgery on my right leg. I consulted with neuro, ortho, pain mgmt doctors but still did not find any relief. I adved my pain dr that i was going to file for disability since mp has turned my life upside down. He gave me -3-5 steroid injections over a 2 month period but nothing seemed:grouphug: to help. I was taking 10-12 pills to combat the pain. My pain Dr said mp may resolve on it's own but it could take 2-3 years. I researched mp and saw where many patients can have this for 15-20 years. I had nerve decompression surgery 9/09 but still no help. I had a f/u visit 6/10 and Dr now wants to excise the nerve from my leg and implant nerve ending in my muscle. does anybody have mp that was caused by sarcoidosis?
