Puberty at 7!

Today they have a news clip on girls reaching puberty at 7 and how that rate of early puberty has increased.....I say a big HMMMMM......could any of this have to do with the high rates of autoimmune disease, neuropathy and the 'Fibro' epidemic.

Could it be the 'estrogenic' compounds that are in our food, dishes, furniture, clothing, drinking water and everything else!

I just took my grandson off Soy formula. He should have been breastfed, but wasn't. Anyway, seems to me that milk may have a tad less pesticide in it than soy. Soy has been oversold and given we have estrogenic compounds in everything but toilet paper...maybe that too, who knows, I figured at least milk formula was run thru the cow (yes, I know cow has antibiotics and who else knows what put in her.)

I don't think you can avoid it any more.

Maybe I am off on a tangent again, but doe there have to be cr@p in everything?

I heard it this A.M. on the news too. They said it was due to the girls being overweight. That was one of the proven reasons if I recall. It is on a lot of the networks, etc. Just do a Google search. Good Morning America is another place. Anyway, that's what they said.

Puberty at seven I can relate

I am 52yr old female, born in 1958. Height at 6yr old 5ft, weight 100, breast starting. I was in first grade with acne. Wearing a B cup bra. Growing up was a nightmare.

Then in 1970 acne disappeared, grew 2 more inches 5ft2in. Still five two, and a Bcup bra.

My mother was ignorant with what was going on with me. I needed an endocrinologist. Grew up diagnosis MS in 1989. Now looking back I had symptoms at 10yrs old. The tightness around my breast, that it was the bra. Never told anyone.

IMO early puberty is warning of autoimmune disease. I didn't see the interview, wish I had.

It may be online, CNN carried the story.

I am concerned about all the estrogen mimics we are exposed to. One of my daughters is an environmental scientist and she says this is a huge problem.
