legzz needs bail money and a lawyer
The broken back I have been complaining about for the last oh....6 months.... Yes, it seems physical therapy did indeed have an impact! I have now broken my T8 and my L1. This is to go with the first two I went in for (T11&T12).
The only thing stopping me from shooting the idiot ortho who I fired recently is the fact that the recoil on the gun would probably break something else! I am soooooooo mad! Oh, and it gets better. Primary Care guy who has had me on percocet every day for the last 3 months is out of town, and I am out of meds. The guy filling in cannot see me until Monday. Called ortho to let hem know they found another 2 fractures in my spine, added to the first 2, and the torn hip flexor and bursitis... and of course he is also on vacation! So it looks like I get to spend the weekend in excruciating pain, while trying not to go into withdrawals from the narcotic pain med I have been taking for 3 months... or i get to take a BS unnecessary trip to the ER, waste everyones time and resources, just to get the script filled because they cannot simply call it in! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! |
aww you poor kitten. I WOULD make a trip to the ER for the meds. I wouldnt go the weekend without pain relief.
((gentle hugs)) |
OUCH! That sounds horrible, Legz! I can't begin to imagine how much pain you are in right now !
As Dejibo said, I wouldn't deal with all of that pain either if you don't have to - it must be awful - i'm so sorry! Take it easy and I hope you feel better soon! Alison x |
Ali you're alive!! And looking cute. Love the hair!
Seiously I just want to shoot the man who kept ordering the PT. |
I thought the Doctor's oath was "do no harm" (PTs too)
|
That's just awful Leggz. :(
Having recently recovered from a couple of fractures myself, I can understand the pain you must be suffering and I don't think you should try to go without analgesia over the weekend. Withdrawal symptoms are frightful, and could possibly make your pain worse. My hubby had a patch prior to his last surgery, and when he stopped using them to go into hospital, he developed severe spasms and had to be given an oral narcotic to stop them. Should you get the same, you'd be likely to cause further damage to your already fragile spine. :( Also, how can you be expected to function when you're in agony? I hope your pain eases soon, but sending gentle hugz meanwhile. |
really hoping the new ortho can prove it is the old ortho's pt idea that caused all of this. I meant what i told him when I fired him. He has no right whatsoever practicing medicine and if it is the last thing I do I will have him in court and i will try to take his license and if i fail, i will file civil suit after civil suit and have his sorry behind tied up in court until he no longer has time to see patients!
So yeah. No worries about the meds, i found the other bottle that was hidden in the cabinet from when i first broke it, so that should work. Just tired of the docs. There was good news though. no new lesions in my t spine. :D |
