Leg pain
I was wondering if anyone else had pain in their leg when walking. I don't have the pain when sitting but when i walk my right leg hurts from my hip all the way down my leg. It's different than any other neuropathy pain i've had. I guess my question is do you think this is something besides neuropathy? Thanks for any ideas.

could it be sciatica...on the outside of the leg....i had a spell of sciatica earlier this year but i couldnt find a comfortable position standing, sitting or laying down.

pain
I have leg pain and pins and needles in my legs all the time but the degree varies it is aggravated by walking. I have been told that it is from my Small Fibre Peripheral Neuropathy. Neurontin and tramadol does help but somedays nothing helps. :grouphug::circlelove:

Topaz,
I have read your posts and was wondering if you have been tested for arthritis and autoimmune disease? I suffer from SFN, dysautonomia and some type of AI disease (undifferentiated) with FMS, and have bouts of arthritis with some swelling. It really seems to hit many areas during a flare such as my wrist/hands/fingers, feet, elbow, back, knees, sacroiliac joints, etc - but concentrates in one area (for example, such as my hands or my SI joints) during the flare. I would describe it as a tooth ache, nauseating type of pain that can be so bad it makes me cry. Is this a possibility? Hope you feel better. Mere |
I have leg pain in one leg which occurs after walking for about 2 minutes. I do not feel it when sitting or in bed. I do not feel it when walking up or down stairs.
My neurologists, without checking, said it is not neuropathy because I do not feel the pain when I am in bed. He suggested that I see a podiatrist to make sure there is no structual problem. Thus far I have discounted that recommendation. |
