Cavernous Angiomas of the Brain

Hi, was wondering if there was anyone out there who had the above listed problem. Sure would like to talk to others with bleeding brains like mine. Was finally diagnosed w/this after I had a stroke from it in 04. Tks!

Thank you for the welcome. What I have is kinda rare I think. But there are others, somewhere. I started getting the bleeds in 1988 when I was pregnant w/my 2nd child. They did not know what it was. Told me I had 3 holes/spots in my brain but not to worry about it. So I didn't. Then I woke up one am w/numbness in the finger tips of my right hand & across my forehead & over the frontal scalp area. Guess it's not so much numbness as tightness cause i can feel in the areas. These manifestations have never left

Hi there.

I also looked up your condition. I am amazed at your bravery and how you have endured all these years. You must be a heck of a fighter.

Just wanted to stop by, say hi, and welcome you to our little world here at Neurotalks.

I hope you are having a good day today.

Take care and be well.

Thank you for your kind thoughts. I grew up in a children's home & put myself thru undergrad & law school so I guess I'm used to perservering. It also helps to have a loving, tolerant & understanding mate to lean on when needed. I've been fortunate in that respect. Problem is, I continue to have bleeds & they have finally taken their toll on my physical & mental health. I am in the process of trying to qualify for SS disability. I was hoping to talk to someone like me who was on SS already. Ironic Note: My last job which ended 6/10 was training to be a DDS examiner. I could not keep up the way they wanted me to. Peace & thank you again!
