Memory loss aka fibro-fog
 
Hello there !!

Im wondering, does anybody here experience memory loss due to fibro ?? I was just reading it is due to the chronic pain.... :rolleyes:

Anyway, Im very scared about this.... dont know what to do :(

Hello. I notice that you use the term "fibro fog," so you are obviously aware that some mental "lapses" are said to go along with it. I have fibromyalgia and I, too, suffer from memory problems. But I've also taken many strong medications over the years for bipolar disorder. I really don't know why the memory problems occur. I do know it is harder to concentrate when we're in pain. Let's hope that some other folks will chime in. Come on, fellow sufferers, speak up! Thanks....

I to have chronic pain with RSD, I also have fibromyalgia. When Iam in a pain flare up it is hard to do anything. Let alone think or remember anything. I hope that helps..

Mine comes even when Im not in pain... :(

But maybe... when Im under stress :rolleyes: Maybe it is not due to fibro... aw... dont know... Im confused and scared.

Maybe since it's really worrying you, you might consider going to a doctor and sharing your concerns. I guess you're worried that it's something more serious.
