My opinion, I wouldnt try it! simply because the research is NOT there (contrary to what people might want to make you believe). One of the first things you will learn about autism treatment, is that there are different 'groups' who believe different things, and believe they know what causes autism and think they know how to cure it. There are all different kinds of theories, and junk science, and tons of high priced money making treatments, but little actual solid science to back most of them up!

A key way to think is to think of autism as a symptom of something bigger, and make sure there isnt any underlying medical condition that can be causing the autism symptoms. I know so many cases of parents who have kids who were given a dx of autism, and that was it, no doctor would look any further because they had a autism dx, and then many years later they found out that there child had rare treatable medical conditions.

there are many people who might believe B12 is the cure and preach it, but I believe it is best to look for a actual cause for the symptoms then to just blindly treat them
