"Acoustopathic" vibrational system

Repeating a posting today. Asked my husband to assess any differences since he began utilizing vibroacoustic therapy (consistently used every dayfor the past 9 days starting with 10 min; now up to 22 min a day . May be these differences are just the intra daily variability of PD; may be due to use of the apparatus; may be placebo effect.) Husband has noted an increase in fluency in his speech, esp in AM, as well as better balance. He awakens easier in AM, which has been a great problem for him since developing PD. Again this is a very short term "experiment".

(Former posting:
Husband's tai chi master has been utilizing an apparatus he developed combining sound and vibrations into a padded board upon which one lies. He maintains that Michael J Fox experienced such relief from his PD symptoms while in Tibet (it was Tibet, right?) because of the constant chanting that the indigenous people do thruoughout their waking hours. Who knows, could be correct.
Vibrational thereapy is used in orthopedics to decrease healing time for those with broken bones; seems it helps knit the fractures together faster. There is also a smaller version of the vibroacoustic apparatus (refering to the lounge/bed apparatus discussed in former posting)sold on the internet from a tai chi school. This smaller vibrational apparatus consists of an 8X8 (?)board connected to a vibrational amplifier and then to headphones to which one inserts into a CD player. CDs accompany the apparatus. One sits in a chair and places one's feet upon the board while listening to music via headphones(or may lie down with board under head). Titled: "Wholisound, The Acoustopathic healing system". The amplifier is a "dayton audio" product. I was given this apparatus to assist me in healing following an injury. Did it help? I do not know; no control and a subject of 1. I did feel it helped ease pain levels and definitely helped with relaxation. Husband's tremors noticeably decreased after use, and I think his balance is better. thus far my husband has not used it to its full potential; he does not like doing nothing but listening to music via headphones. He is now up to 22 min per session, and states he does feel better after each session. Hoping it is cumulative.
