B Vitamin Confusion

One minute I think I should take a B Vitamin supplement to possibly help with regeneration of idiopathic nerve damage, the next minute I hear too much B6, etc. can cause nerve damage. Does anyone know the correct values to take to possibly help situation?

This idiopathic situation is "unnerving", no pun intended.........

Don't get me wrong, I am glad I don't have a disease causing this non-length dependent neuropathy, but I can't help but think the Dr's are missing something and idiopathic is a convenient catch all.

Also with idiopathic I feel no control over the situation presently and progressively speaking.

Does anyone know in general how progressive are we talking with non-length dependent? I know people with distal neuropathy that can't wear shoes, sox or bed sheets on their feet. What happens to us non-length dependent people as we progress........do we join a nudist colony??!!

(I hope not, the Gabapentin has made me gain 10 pounds in the last year, and I need to up the dose now!)
